Burglars have stolen two bikes after forcing a garage door at a property in Rawcliffe, York
TWO bikes have been stolen by burglars who forced a garage door at a property in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the burglary happened in Reighton Avenue, Rawcliffe, sometime between 10pm on Sunday and 06.45am yesterday.
A spokesperson said the thieves took a silver Claud Butler bike with red front panniers and grey childs seat and a black Claud Butler bike with a grey child's seat on the back.
"We would like to reassure the community that we are working to identify the person or people responsible and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious to contact 101, quoting 12190067368."
