POLICE have called on a wanted man to hand himself in.
North Yorkshire Police said Robert Matthews, 33, "is wanted in connection with an incident that happened in Selby", on April 7, and has links to the Selby and Sherburn-in-Elmet areas.
PC Daniel Kirven said Matthews knows he is wanted by the police and is actively avoiding officers.
He said: "Matthews, if you are reading this, your best option is to come to Selby Police Station as previously arranged, rather than avoid us. We will find you eventually, so please do not put this off any longer."
