THE weather is set to turn warm and sunny in York and North Yorkshire - just in time for the Easter weekend.
Forecasters from the Meteo Group are predicting sunny intervals on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday, with temperatures soaring to 20C on Saturday and Sunday, after only 8C last weekend.
But the weather may break on Easter Monday, with showers forecast.
The Met Office is expecting a maximum of 18C at the weekend.
