A LOCAL training provider is celebrating ten years in the business.

The Skills Network, in Selby, was founded by Mick Cox and Eliot Grant, initially operating out of a small rented office near Howden with just three members of staff.

Over the past decade, TSN has specialised in online learning, growing in strength and reputation by providing distance learning courses to those in health and social care, early years, security, education, trade unions and local government.

The company now has more than 200 staff at its Selby HQ and London office and offers over 100 endorsed courses, with 44 college partnerships.

MD Claire Conlaund said: “As we’ve grown rapidly, we’ve never wavered in offering the very best in online education and training.

“We are driven by a passion to break down the barriers people face and we’re proud to continue to make a difference to people’s lives, equipping them with skills they need.”
