POETIC polymath Ross Sutherland leaves the safety of his wardrobe recording studio to present a special live edition of his podcast series Imaginary Advice at the York Theatre Royal Studio tomorrow night.
Sutherland likes to explore new forms of storytelling; he has recorded love monologues at drum and bass raves, made cut-up poetry out of BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme and cross-bred Jay-Z’s The Black Album with the Tate Modern’s audioguide.
His special guests at 7.45pm will be poet Rebecca Tamás and novelist Naomi Booth. Tickets are on sale on 01904 623568 or at yorktheatreroyal.co.uk.
