AN historic hall on the banks of the river Ouse in York is the venue for a wedding fair next weekend.

York Hospitium Wedding Fair on Sunday, April 14 will have everything from fantastic food to florists, and chocolates to chair covers for anyone looking to tie the knot.

Set in York Museum Gardens, the award winning weddings team at the Hospitium will be on hand to meet and greet visitors and answer any questions about hosting your perfect day with them.

Claire Knott, wedding and events manager, said: “We have handpicked some of our favourite and most highly regarded wedding suppliers to come and join us for a day designed to help you plan your perfect wedding. From the latest trends to the time tested traditions, our in house caterers, Bradshaws, will be creating some of their chocolaty treats to sample and renowned florist Fiona Hogg will be decorating the alter space with a stunning display.

“Whether you are simply starting your wedding planning journey or have already booked, our team will be on hand to answer any questions about our beautiful venue and to discuss how we can make sure your wedding is the one you have always dreamed about.”

The event is free to the public and runs from 11am to 3pm.

Other stall holders at the event include hair and make-up, photographers, venue styling and chair covers.
