YORK'S Northern College of Acupuncture is holding its inaugural research conference.
Health professionals from all specialisms are being invited to explore ways they can help patients change their lifestyles for better long-term health.
Keynote speakers will include Professor Hugh MacPherson, the UK's first professor of acupunture research at the University of York, Dr Angela Goyal, of Inspired Medics, and Dr Helen Lawal, of One Medical Group.
NCA principal Richard Blackwell said: "This conference will be of interest to a wide variety of professionals and students from both complementary and biomedical healthcare backgrounds.
"The day's programme will offer and excellent opportunity to hear some of the latest research in lifestyle medicine, as well as a chance to extend professional networks."
The event will take place at the National Centre for Early Music on October 18. Details at nca.ac.uk
