A MILITARY training boss has offered support to a Flintshire rescue charity.
North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) visited Kinmel Army Camp this week to drop off a collection box which had been requested by Roger Snaith, head of the Military Awareness Course which is run by North Wales Training.
A spokesman for NEWSAR, which is based in Mold, said: "Over the years NEWSAR has worked closely with the Military Awareness Course and their young students passing on tips and skills.
"It was therefore a pleasant surprise when they requested a collection box for their tuck store.
"If you have a business that handles cash transactions and would like a collection box to go near your till please let us know.
"We will try to match you with one of our members as a box manager."
NEWSAR is a volunteer search and rescue (mountain rescue) organisation operating in North East Wales and mainly covers the counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Wrexham, Powys and parts of Wirral and Cheshire. All team members are volunteers.
