A MAN suspected of involvement in armed robberies survived this dramatic crash with a police car on the A64 - and was then arrested.
Two police officers in the police car were also uninjured, despite their vehicle also rolling over, according to Malton amateur photographer Mike Brown, who took the picture this morning.
He said the police car was an armed response vehicle, apparently deployed as officers tracked the suspect's car along the A64 from Scarborough and tried to bring it to a halt.
He said he was amazed that the man in the car, and also the police officers, survived the accident. He said the police car was badly damaged after it rolled over before coming to rest back on its wheels.
