Heavy police presence near York underpass
A HEAVY police presence was reported in an area just outside York.
North Yorkshire Police said they could not confirm the exact nature of the incident, but said they attended Murton Way between 4pm and 6.30pm on Monday.
Pictures from the scene show four police vans and rapid response vehicles from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service parked close to the A64 underpass.
A police spokeswoman said there was no immediate witness appeal, but more details would be released when possible.
