VIBRANT artwork showcasing different faiths around the globe has brightened up the walls of a York school.
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs RC Primary staged its annual Art Focus week for the whole school, with a focus this year on learning about different religions.
The children interpreted what they had learnt through their diverse collection of creations, with help from art co-ordinators Jen Murphy and Lynn Moss.
"They worked with a wide range of different materials and produced some excellent work including 3D models, prints, sculptures. The school looks beautiful," said Mrs Moss.
She said they celebrated the work in assembly and there pupils were able to showcase their creations to parents with a tour around the school.
"If you ask them, they say they love Art Focus week. They like working with the different materials and they enjoy celebrating the work with everyone, and seeing the work on the walls.
"Every child has at least one piece of their art on the wall."
