POET Ian MacMillan, along with musician Luke Carver Goss, will provide an evening of poetry, song and banter in a village near York next month.

Ian will be entertaining an audience at the village hall in Tollerton on March 29, starting at 7pm.

Nicknamed the Bard of Barnsley, Ian is on a quest to visit all village halls in England. Tickets are available from the Tollerton village shop, priced at £12.50. There will be a bar on the night for refreshments.
