Five lambs have died in a shed fire
FIVE lambs have died in a fire in a shed near York.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said a crew from Huntington fire station used a hosereel to deal with the fire, which happened in building in Hazel Bush Lane earlier today.
It said part of the shed, which measured approximately15 metres by 10 metres, was damaged by the fire.
"Unfortunately, five lambs died as a result of the fire, which is believed to have been caused by faulty wiring on a heat lamp," added a spokesperson.
