TRIBUTE act Slade UK head back to the Victoria Vaults, in Nunnery Lane, York, on February 23.

"This is an eagerly awaited return by this fab band," says co-promoter Dave Sollitt. "They sold out last time when a great night was had by all. We'll have a happy hour operating between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, and there'll be very, very limited ticket availability for this gig, so get there early!" In the meantime, tickets are on sale at £8 plus booking fee at wegottickets.com/victoriavaults.

Slade UK will be sure to play such abiding Slade favourites as Coz I Luv You; Take Me Bak 'ome; Mama Weer All Crazee Now; Gudbuy T'Jane; Cum On Feel The Noize; Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me, My Friend Stan; Everyday and My Oh My. And surely they can't resist giving a February run-out to the non-seasonal Merry Xmas Everybody?

Courtesy of the Victoria Vaults and Vinyl Eddie, of Tadcaster Road independent record shop Vinyl Eddie, The Press has a vinyl copy of Slade's 1974 album, Slade In Flame, to be won plus a pair of tickets for the February 23 show.
