SCOTTISH comedy award winner and viral sensation Gary Meikle will play York Barbican on July 14.
Having found fame by notching more than 100 million views with his rant about his daughters’ eyebrows, he will guide his York audience through eyebrow etiquette, how it has changed his life and his reaction to being known forever more as “the eyebrow gu”y.
Meikle’s set will draw on his relationship with his girls, give an insight into the workings of his mind and offer his thoughts and opinions on “things he has dared not verbalise until now”.
Storyteller Meikle is not one to mince his words, so expect the unexpected from this playfully dark, yet effervescent comedian, who supported Jason Manford on his 2018 Muddle Class tour, visiting York Barbican last October.
Tickets to see the Scotsman tipped to be comedy’s next household name are on sale at yorkbarbican.co.uk, on 0844 854 2757 or in person.from the Barbican box office.
