A SING-A-LONG concert and afternoon tea is being held to raise funds to enable disabled people in York to go on holiday.
The event, at New Earswick Folk Hall on Saturday, March 23 from 2.30pm-4.40pm, is being organised by the York group of the Jumbulance Trust, a charity which organises holidays once a year for adults and children with disabilities or severe illnesses.
Funds raised will pay for volunteer carers and nurses to accompany the disabled holidaymakers. Last year, they enjoyed a trip to Llandudno in Wales.
Tickets for the concert cost £10 and are available from the New Earswick Folk Hall or from Jane Houseman, telephone: 01904 750062.
