TOOLS and a diary were stolen from vehicles in a works compound at Hazelwood Castle, near Tadcaster.
North Yorkshire Police said the thefts happened between 1pm and 3pm on Wednesday, February 6.
The driver's window of the first vehicle was smashed and a blue rucksack containing papers and a diary were stolen, along with a grey tool box containing a Ryobi Cordless Drill and an Impact driver.
Police said the second vehicle was unlocked, and an orange and white Stihl saw and a red Robin leaf blower were stolen.
Anyone with information or who has been offered similar items for sale should phone 101 and quote job numbers NYP-06022019-0321 for the first vehicle, or NYP06022019-0331 for the second.
