THREE people have been convicted after admitting assault.
Humberside Police began investigating an attack on two people in Princess Road, Market Weighton, on July 21, 2018.
Last week, David Rodrigues, 23, and Gaynor McCairns, 22, both of Princess Road, Market Weighton, and Katherine McCairns, 25, of an address in West Yorkshire, appeared before Beverley Magistrates’ Court.
A police spokesman said all three pleaded guilty to assault on Wednesday, January 30.
David Rodrigues received a 12 week sentence for each of the two neighbours he assaulted, both suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to pay each victim £50 compensation.
Gaynor McCairns received an eight-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, along with a £50 compensation order, while Katherine McCairns also received an eight-week sentence, suspended for 12 months, and a £50 compensation order.
All three were also fined more than £130 each to compensate for a fence they damaged during the incident.
