PICCADILLY will be closed to traffic in one direction for emergency roadworks to be carried out.
The road will be shut northbound between its junctions with Tower Street and Lead Mill Lane from 8pm on Wednesday, until 10.30pm.
An alternative route will be signposted and a traffic barrier will be put in place so that work can be carried out safely.
