Road Traffic Collision York
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash in Malton Road, outside Toby Carvery.
North Yorkshire Police said that they were called to the scene at 2.53pm following a serious collision between a car and a cyclist.
A spokesman said that the cyclist has suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital.
The force added that both ends of the road are currently closed and traffic is being diverted from the bottom of Malton Road roundabout and the A1237 roundabout.
North Yorkshire Police added that anyone with any information should contact them with the reference number NYP-04022019-0305
