A NEW business magazine for Yorkshire has been launched by the publishers of The Press.

Yorkshire Business Review will be published quarterly – with the first edition out now.

Over 90 pages, the high-quality, glossy magazine covers a wide range of sectors including recruitment, manufacturing, export, finance, commercial law and property as well as showcasing the latest developments in the region and includes interviews with business leaders.

Articles in the first issue include an analysis of how Yorkshire's economy is boosted by its heritage, the latest on developments at Leeds Bradford Airport, and the pioneering technology behind Salvalco's expansion at Escrick Business Park.

The magazine will be edited by senior The Press journalist Maxine Gordon and Nadia Jefferson-Brown, deputy news editor.

The Press editor Nigel Burton said: "This magazine couples style with substance to celebrate the inspirational success stories of the firms and individuals across Yorkshire, providing an ideal platform for business leaders to get involved."

He added: "There are few places that can boast such a wide variety of rural, city and industrial landscapes and as a result, Yorkshire is home to a tapestry of enterprises that have paved the way on a global scale in everything from manufacturing to leisure and retail and property and transport."

Around 5,000 copies of the magazine will be distributed to selected outlets across North Yorkshire and the magazine will also be available as an online digital-edition through the websites of The Press and its sister paper The Gazette & Herald, which have a monthly online audience of more than 800,000 visitors.

Nigel said: "Using state-of-the-art digital technology, all our content and advertisements are interactive, allowing businesses to drive potential customers to their websites and social media platforms as well as sharing content at the touch of a button."

The magazine will be distributed across the region to hotels, LNER first class train carriages, commercial banking and business centres, council offices, universities and higher education colleges, among others.

A range of partner packages are available for businesses to take advantage of and secure coverage in the magazine.
