A MAN has been charged in connection with the theft of Rolex watches in York.
It follows an incident on Saturday in which police - including a force helicopter - were involved in a pursuit on numerous roads, including the A63 and A1.
North Yorkshire Police said the chase came after the alleged theft of three Rolex watches from a jewellers in High Ousegate, York.
A 27-year-old man from Rochdale has been charged with theft from a shop, failing to stop and driving a motor vehicle dangerously. He has been remanded in custody to appear at York Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
