How nice to see that two of the trees in Deans Park have been roped off in order to let the grass grow back around them.

Hopefully some of the other trees and the hexagonal stone bench will be given similar, much needed, TLC?

I have often thought that the park needs help rejuvenating in the winter months.

The lawns look as though they require reseeding after the summer months’ high footfall and they do not get a great deal of sunlight at this time of year due to that big churchy building nearby.

Another very positive thing of late is the removal of the line of ugly white minibuses parked beside and behind the war memorial that were obscuring the view of, and from, the bar walls.

Many thanks to whoever has made these decisions.
