POLICE in North Yorkshire are looking for landowners to come forward to help them to try out their new drones.
North Yorkshire Police has put out an appeal to anyone willing to allow the force to use their land for training officers how to fly their new kit in York and Selby District.
A spokesman said: " We have recently got the capability to deploy drones in certain circumstances. To help officers keep up their training requirement we are looking for landowners that would be willing to allow access.
"If you think this is something you could offer or require any further information please contact: caroline.saville@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk or call 101 and ask for PCSO Caroline Saville 6239."
