POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary at a care home in York.
The incident occurred at a care home in Haxby between Saturday, 5 January and Saturday, 12 January.
Several items, including a decorative china plate with a thick brown rim and decorated with a river scene, a black marble effect medal with a brass rim and a white rose like figure in the centre and a red brandy glass were stolen.
An amber glass was also taken.
In a statement, North Yorkshire Police said: "Anyone who has information on the offence or who believes has seen the items since they were taken is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, selecting option 2, and asking for PC Joanne Shanley. "Alternatively you can email joanne.shanley@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk."
