Moscow City Ballet's Swan Lake
MOSCOW City Ballet returns to York Barbican on Sunday for 2pm and 7pm performances of Swan Lake, presented in classic Russian style with full orchestra.
Swan Lake is a signature piece of the company’s repertoire, with the epic story of Prince Siegfried and his doomed love for Odette being brought to life in all its original splendour by Tchaikovsky’s haunting score.
"Brimming with Russia’s best dancers, beautiful sets and stunning costumes", the production combines "breathtaking choreography and dazzling performances with live orchestral accompaniment".
