I am most disappointed with the Archbishop of York’s prayer about the recent car accident in Norfolk, if it was reported fully in The Press (Duke of Edinburgh involved in car crash, January 18).

It was all about concern for the uninjured Duke of Edinburgh, with nothing about the two women and baby involved.

The women needed hospital treatment, one with a broken wrist. How does that affect her daily life?

The Duke takes delivery of a new car the next day. What about the two women’s car? How are their travel arrangements affected?

Then we discover that within two days the Duke is again driving on public roads.

The Duke has the services of a driver at any time but still insists on driving himself.
