THE Scottish Fiddle Orchestra will return to York Barbican for the first time since 2013 for an evening of Scottish music, ranging from jigs, reels and tone poems to well-known songs and slow airs on October 26.
Sharing the stage with the SFO's massed ranks will be a pipe band, the orchestra's singers and soloists as they continue their travels that have taken them to Australia, Canada, China and New Zealand, raising more than £1 million for charity en route.
Tickets for this 7.30pm concert are on sale at yorkbarbican.co.uk, on 0844 857 2757 or in person from the Barbican box office.
