ONE person was taken to hospital after a crash in York this morning (January 21).
It happened on the A19 Shipton Road and involved a car and a motorcyclist, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force was called to the collision at 7.10am.
The road was shut temporarily in both directions between the A1237 York Outer Ring Road and Manor Lane to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We conveyed one patient to Leeds General Infirmary with what are believed to be pelvis injuries."
