A 'PAY as you feel' cafe will be open in York each Monday until the end of March.
The Monday Hunger Café runs from the Red Tower Community Hub in Foss Islands Road.
Home made hot vegetable soup and sandwiches will be available, alongside a variety of surplus fruit and vegetables which have been donated by Morrisons and Waitrose.
There will be no set price, visitors are asked only to pay what they can afford.
The cafe runs on Mondays between 11.30am and 2pm, and will also include crafts activities, advice and support.
