POLICE want to speak to this man after a £6,750 engagement ring was stolen in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the ring was taken from the Goldsmiths jewellers in Spurriergate at about 4.30pm on Saturday, December 15, but have only just released the CCTV image.
A spokesman said a man entered the shop and asked to look at engagement rings before leaving the store without paying for one priced at £6750.
The man officers want to speak to was described as being about six feet tall and spoke with a Merseyside accent.
