SNOW has been lying on the highest parts of the Yorkshire Wolds today after a significant fall overnight.
This picture was taken on a back road near Birdsall, south of Malton, early this afternoon.
A little fell in York yesterday evening - against the expectations of forecasters- before melting by today.
Tomorrow is likely to be a tad milder in York, with temperatures reaching as high as 5C, but it will be mostly cloudy again.
