POLICE put a dispersal order in place in Pickering town centre yesterday evening due to anti-social behaviour.

However the ‘section 35’ order was breached by two teenagers who had to be escorted home.

In a message on the community messaging system, North Yorkshire Police said two 14-year-olds were told to disperse - but within half an hour had breached the direction.

The force added: “Both were returned to their home addresses by officers and further action will be taken by way of an Agreed Behavioural contract.”
