A DRIVER and three passengers had a lucky escape after a car flipped into a tree in North Yorkshire.
Police were called to the crash, involving a blue Honda Jazz car, at about 12.15am today (January 16).
PC Liam Cromack tweeted that the driver had only passed his test just five days ago.
The driver had misjudged a bend, hit a verge and flipped car into a tree, according to PC Cromack.
He added: “I don’t know how but all four occupants escaped with only minor cuts & bruising. #LuckyToBeAlive”
North Yorkshire Police said the 21-year-old male driver, and three passengers - a 17-year-old boy, and 18-year-old woman and 19-year-old woman - were taken to hospital as a precaution.
