A MUSEUM worker in York was attacked by a woman.
North Yorkshire Police said the member of staff at Castle Museum was elbowed in the stomach by a woman following a verbal altercation last month.
A spokesman said the woman had brown hair which was tied back, she wore dark clothing and was holding a young child at the time of the assault, which happened on Saturday, December 15, at 12.40pm.
The spokesman said despite an investigation since the incident was first reported, police had not been able to locate the suspect, and officers were now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish what happened.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation, or who saw the incident, should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two, and ask for David Ellison.
