THE Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is asking people in North Yorkshire to build their own birdwatching den as part of the Big Garden Birdwatch.
Members of the public are being asked to spend just one hour watching and recording the birds in their garden or local green space, then send their results to the RSPB.
The charity will be holding an event at Dalby Forest Visitor Centre on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27, where it will be offering free bird feeder activities and information on the Big Garden Birdwatch from 11am-3pm. Visit rspb.org.uk/birdwatch.
