Glen Durrant claimed his third successive BDO World Darts Championship title with a 7-3 victory over Bradford-born Scott Waites at Lakeside.
Both players came into the match with 100 per cent records in the showpiece event final, with Waites winning world titles in 2013 and 2016.
Durrant took the opening set before Waites hit back to lead 3-2 in the best-of-13 sets final.
But that was as good as it got for the Yorkshireman as Durrant reeled off the next five sets to win his third straight world crown - becoming just the second man to achieve the feat after Eric Bristow from 1984 to 1986.
