A59 clear after crash which caused traffic chaos
A CRASH on the A59 between York and Harrogate this morning (January 11) caused traffic chaos for motorists.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened near Green Hammerton and involved three vehicles. It was reported to the force at about 7.40am.
There are not believed to be any serious injuries, the force added.
The road was blocked both ways. It was cleared by about 9.45am.
Motorists were advised to use alternative routes while emergency crews attended the scene.
