Burglary in Elvington
RESIDENTS of a village near York have been urged to remain vigilant after a break-in.
North Yorkshire Police said the detached garage of an address in Church Lane, Elvington was broken in to overnight on Monday, January 7.
Police were unable to confirm what, if anything, had been stolen, but urged anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting job 328 of Tuesday, January 8.
A spokesman also advised residents to report any suspicious activity on 101 or 999.
