SEVERAL hundred pounds worth of cannabis has been seized after a police raid in East Yorkshire.
Officers from Bridlington Neighbourhood Team and the Proactive Unit carried out a warrant at a property on Bessingby Gate in Bridlington.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "Cannabis estimated to be worth several hundred pounds and two extendable batons were seized."
The force confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been charged with possessing a class B drug, namely cannabis, and possessing a weapon in a public place.
He has been bailed to appear at Beverley Magistrates Court next month.
It said a second man is under investigation for possession of cannabis.
