AFTER taking not one, but three hit shows to the Edinburgh Fringe last summer, multi award-winning comedian Adam Riches will play the Burning Duck Comedy Club In York on his 19-date debut British tour, The Adam Riches Experience.
On the road from April 25 to July 3, the innovative Riches will play The Basement, at City Screen, York, on June 8 at the invitation of Burning Duck promoter Al Greaves.
"I cannot wait to start my first ever UK tour with all my favourite characters, along with a whole bunch of new ones," says Riches. "It's going to be great fun and, as usual, a different show every night brought to life by the willing –and otherwise! – participation of the crowd. Restraining orders at the ready!”
Riches has won the Edinburgh Comedy Award and three Chortle Awards and was named Time Out Comedy’s Person of the Year. He has has appeared on such shows as BBC Four's Detectorists, BBC Three's Top Coppers, Comedy Central's Drunk History and Channel 4's The Last Leg and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
