YORK'S only five-star hotel is launching a new venture - cookery classes.
Bookings are now officially open for The Cookery School at The Grand, York, and bosses say it is set to be a "unique, immersive experience".
The move is set to further cement York's growing reputation as culinary hotspot in the UK.
Opening in March 2019, The Cookery School is promising to offer a selection of 43 classes catering to all kinds of abilities, tastes and ages.
Classes are available to book now with packages starting from £55 per person.
Full day, express, children and evening classes are available alongside the option to gift the experience with a Cookery School voucher.
A hotel spokesperson said: "So, what are you waiting for? Book now to be inspired by Andrew Dixon, The Cookery School’s ambitious head chef tutor and his innovative team; deepen your culinary knowledge and acquire dish-to-dish transferable skills."
The Grand York opened as a hotel in 2010 and added 100 new rooms in March 2018 as part of its £15 million expansion and refurbishment scheme, doubling the capacity for accommodation.
