Break-in at allotment
THIEVES broke into a shed at allotments in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the thieves entered a shed in allotments in Scarcroft Road between midday on Tuesday, December 11, and midday on Friday, December 14.
A police spokesman could not confirm what items had been stolen, but said the shed had been damaged, and a number of items had been stolen.
Police urged local residents to remain vigilant, and called on anyone with information or who has been offered gardening implements for sale should phone police on 101 quoting job 281 of December 14.
