A 41-YEAR-OLD woman has been given a suspended 16-week jail sentence after being caught drink driving in the Thirsk area, with a breath test showing she was four times the legal limit.
The reading of 141mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath is the highest recorded so far in North Yorkshire Police’s festive crackdown.
The woman was also given a 36-month driving ban and ordered to pay £200 costs by magistrates.
