TWO graduates are appealing for young writers for a new website that was launched yesterday.
Joe Tomsett and Finn Grant are looking for new voices for Alumni Weekly Review, a website for new and bold ideas.
Joe said: “Anyone with any views on the world can write for us. Simply produce a piece of work and send it to Alumniweeklyreview@gmail.com
“Alumni Weekly Review is an online platform where students and graduates can explore some of the ideas, concepts and theories they learn at university in an open and engaging way. However, we don’t mark your work with a red pen and give you an arbitrary score – all we look for is a compelling, original and persuasive article that explores esoteric angles of thinking.
“We have no political allegiance – in fact, we abhor political allegiances as they tend to obscure and confuse the originality of an individual’s work. If you have an interesting idea, or an interesting way of thinking about something – just go for it. AWR will always be an open platform in which good, persuasive ideas are explored and celebrated.”
