COLOURFUL Christmas jumpers will be the uniform of the day for staff at a North Yorkshire car dealership.
Ray Chapman Motors in Seven Street, Malton, will be one of many businesses and organisations across North and East Yorkshire and York joining in the Save The Children’s festive fundraiser on Friday.
Staff will be donning Christmas jumpers and collecting donations for mince pies and cakes in aid of the charity.
Duncan Chapman, of the Volvo retailers, said: “Save the Children is a fantastic cause so I’m really pleased that we will be participating in Christmas Jumper Day again this year.
“Every little really does help, even a £2 donation can help pay for antibiotics for five sick children, so we’re hoping members of the community will join us for a mince pie and some festive tunes on Friday.”
The annual Christmas Jumper Day is an important fundraiser for the international charity with thousands of businesses and organisations nationally taking part.
