IT'S only December 9, but North Yorkshire Police's Christmas campaign has already resulted in 39 motorists being arrested for drink or drug driving.
Sgt Paul Cording tweeted that the figure was equivalent to more than four people every single day who were putting lives at risk.
"If you have info on drink/drug drivers then please contact us, we will take positive action," he added.
