JESS Glynne will play Dalby Forest, near Pickering, on June 29 as part of the Forest Live 2019 concert programme in the Forestry Commission woodland.

"I do hope you can join me in the summer as part of Forest Live," says the Hampstead singer and songwriter, who will sing at five sylvan sites next June and July. "I am really looking forward to performing in these unique woodland locations around the country".

She is the second act to be confirmed for Forest Live at Dalby next summer after Paul Weller signed up for June 28, going wild in the woods for a fourth time after the Modfather played there in 2004, 2009 and 2014.

Glynne, 29, last graced the North Yorkshire great outdoors at York Racecourse's Music Showcase on July 28 2017 immediately after the 8.30pm sixth race that evening.

Since then, she has released her chart-topping second studio album, Always In Between, while continuing her run of hit singles with I'll Be There, a seventh top spot that secured Glynne the record for most number one singles by a British female solo artist, then All I Am and Thursday.

In 2014, her guest vocal on Clean Bandit’s Rather Be brought Glynne to prominence; her debut album I Cry When I Laugh arrived in 2015, charting for 170 weeks en route to triple platinum sales. Singles Right Here, Real Love, Hold My Hand and Don't Be So Hard On Yourself all charted too, while Glynne has guested on Route 94's My Love, Tinie Tempah's Not Letting Go and Rudimental's These Days, all number ones.

Tickets go on sale at £44.50, plus £4.95 booking fee, from 9am on Friday at forestryengland.uk/music and 03000 680400. Money raised from ticket sales will help to look after the Forestry Commission woodland sustainably for people to enjoy and wildlife to thrive.
