FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at a scrapyard in Ryedale last night (December 2), which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Fire crews were called to the fire in Pickering at 7.25pm.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it involved a large number of scrap vehicles.
A spokesperson for the fire service added: "The cause is believed to be deliberate at this time."
