A SECOND public consultation meeting has been organised over plans to build a new business park in York .
The meeting will take place at The Old Library, School Lane, Fulford, from 4pm on Wednesday, November 28.
At the first consultation residents raised their concerns about the impact on traffic in the area. Ben Pilgrim, of the Oakgate Group, which is the developer for Naburn Business Park, said: “Most feedback recognised the levels of traffic whilst also the need for new offices in York, to help existing businesses expand in the city and attract new ones.”
Richard France, Oakgate Group managing director, said: “The proposals will deliver a major economic boost to York’s economy by providing a range of employment and office space that is not currently on offer in the city, and will be set in a well designed and landscaped environment, in a very sustainable location.”
